QR Codes for Christmas!

Posted by admin on December 22nd, 2011

We have just launched a new feature—QR Codes. QR Codes allows user with smart phones to quickly scan the code and gain access to additional information about whatever the QR code scanned is linked to.

To show you how QR codes will work as part of InnoVia, we have prepared a tutorial video for you. Please take a moment to watch the video so you’ll know how this feature can benefit you.

To outline how you will utilize these new codes, we have added some detail in the Help Topics page written for the QR codes. Here, you will learn in brief what they are and how to access them and create custom QR codes for specific purposes directly from within InnoVia.

Here are two screen shots from a phone simulator showing the “Landing Page”, the listing detail that is shown when a QR code set up for a listing is scanned.

If you would like more general information about QR codes, the article on Wikipedia provides detailed information about them—what they are, how they work, and so on: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QR_code.
